The Périgord region in France is well known for its exquisite gastronomy. The black truffles of this region are a beloved and world-renowned delicacy. Its exclusivity can even be more enhanced by producing small, pearl-shaped balls of these subterranean fungi, obtaining a caviar-like structure. The pronounced pungent smell and taste in these pearls are emphasized by adding a spicy, candied ginger.
