Trigeminal taste descriptor

A trigeminal taste descriptor is a type of sensory descriptor used to describe a trigeminal taste property of an ingredient. Trigeminal taste descriptors contain the special taste sensations ‘astringent’, ‘pungent’, ‘cooling’ and ‘tingling’.
